Description:	The Hub – A Bridge Between Academia and Industry Located within the JIM campus in Noida, The Hub is a career-focused, transformative office space designed to serve as a launchpad for students entering the professional world. At the heart of this project lies a strong commitment to sustainability and resource efficiency. Rather than sourcing new materials, the design repurposes leftover site resources, integrating them into the fabric of space. Salvaged bricks were reused to construct feature walls, while excess steel was transformed into elegant partitions and furniture. Corrugated cement sheets were repurposed to add texture and depth to interiors. Smaller materials—surplus wooden planks and metal fittings—were integrated into built furniture and detailing, reinforcing the project’s commitment to resourcefulness. The Hub stands beyond its materiality; its L-shaped layout optimises space, ensuring smooth circulation and accessibility. The linear arrangement of placement offices facilitates movement, while zones for meetings, discussions, and interviews create a structured, professional setting. The balance of collaborative and private spaces, along with adaptable multi-functional areas like conference rooms and lounges, enhances flexibility and usability. In essence, The Hub is more than a workplace—it's a sustainable, purpose-driven environment that embodies innovation, collaboration, and thoughtful design.
