| Description: | MeyMey is a newly opened pottery studio that adds handcrafted goodness to ceramics. We were tasked with designing the MeyMey world to look as honest and grounded as the products themselves. As algorithms have driven increasing saturation in the visual language (especially in this category), we saw this as an opportunity to root the brand's identity in a simple, almost obvious ritual: the way crockery is stacked. This simple idea became the conceptual spine of the brand. The Meymey logo was built like the product itself—layered and minimal. Every letterform feels shaped, which makes it raw by design and suggestive of clay in motion. The rawness of the product and the material inspired a bespoke font, MeyMaati, and a playful suite of 3D-designed letterforms. Together, they became a highly identifiable brand asset. Used across communication, packaging, and merchandise, they echoed the same principle of thoughtful assembly. The result is an identity that doesn’t just sit on top of the product, but one that emerges from the same ethos: made slowly, with care, and never quite the same twice. |
